We aim to be a school "without walls," committed to innovation and collaboration. Our new building reflects this philosophy. Open, collaborative spaces transcend traditional boundaries and spark interdisciplinary connections between learners, researchers, and innovators. The four-story facility includes adaptive classrooms, faculty offices, collaborative meeting spaces, and research areas. Public spaces are open to the University and broader communities alike.

Our new space stands at a vital intersection for the University of Virginia, connecting Central Grounds with the athletics complex and fields, the Law School, and the Darden School of Business. A vibrant hub built to foster collaboration, the building brings people together from across the University, Charlottesville, and beyond.

A grand opening celebration event was held for the new building on April 26, 2024. Hundreds of invited guests turned out for the event, which featured a digital countdown; open house; and remarks from a distinguished group of speakers, including Virginia Gov.
