Data, AI, and Health Collaboratory

A pan-university network advancing data, AI, and health across UVA

DAHC is a cross-school coordination network at UVA connecting researchers, clinicians, and practitioners working at the intersection of data science, AI, and health. It is backed by the deans of the Schools of Medicine, Data Science, Engineering, Darden, and Education and Human Development.

What DAHC does

It is not a new center or lab. It is organizational infrastructure for people who already do this work but need help working together across school boundaries. That means:

  • Coordinating multi-school grant proposals and complex submissions
  • Organizing cross-school seminars, working groups, and an annual retreat
  • Serving as a point of contact for external partners (industry, federal, philanthropy) in this space
  • Working across schools to secure pilot funding for collaborative projects that span disciplines

Get involved

Faculty and staff can join as a node, propose a working group, or collaborate on grant proposals. Students and trainees can participate in seminars, connect with mentors, and apply for project funding. External partners can reach out to explore research collaborations, workforce development, or sponsorship.
