Why pursue a Ph.D. in Data Science?
I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Data Science out of a fascination with how data, computation, and real-world impact intersect, and I aim to develop rigorous, scalable, and ethical methods that advance the field. A Ph.D. offers the chance to deepen my grounding in theory, conduct original research on societal challenges, and collaborate across disciplines to create practical and impactful solutions. Ultimately, I see the Ph.D. as both an intellectual journey and a path to contribute new knowledge while preparing to tackle complex data-driven problems with clarity and purpose.
