The Ph.D. in Data Science has one annual cycle, starting in the fall term. Each fall, we host program open houses and Q&A sessions about the program's curriculum, research opportunities, application process, and what it means to get a Ph.D. in Data Science.

Applicants have a one-week grace period to submit transcripts, English language test scores (if required) and letter(s) of recommendation. Note that we do not accept research papers, articles, statements of purpose, GRE scores, or other supplementary items aside those required for the application.
Ph.D. Virtual Interview Days
Week of Feb. 8, 2027
The School of Data Science will invite selected candidates to connect with current and other prospective Ph.D. students, learn about faculty research and our data science community, and to engage in round-robin admission interviews with Data Science faculty.
Applications are still under review during Interview Days, and not every student under consideration for admission will be invited to interview days, as we have limited spots available.
