Vicki Schmanske is a retired Leidos and Lockheed Martin executive. With more than 40 years of experience across defense, intelligence, civil, health, and commercial markets, she has held senior executive roles including president of the commercial and international sector, president of the intelligence group and chief corporate operations officer. Her expertise spans corporate strategy, operational leadership, software and systems engineering, enterprise IT, and large-scale program and portfolio management.
She has received numerous accolades over her 40-year career. In 2020, she was named the Women of Excellence C-Suite Executive of the Year from the National Association for Female Executives, and in 2022, she was listed as one of the "25 Women Who Mean Business" by Washington Business Journal. In 2026, she received the Women in Sales Leadership Award from the Institute for Effective Professional Selling.
Schmanske received a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics/computer science from the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science and a master's degree in information systems from George Washington University. In 2022, she was elected to the Virginia Academy for Science, Engineering, and Medicine.
