Ramesh Durvasula is the chief data officer at Roche, overseeing data, analytics, and AI strategy across both the pharmaceutical and diagnostics divisions. Prior to Roche, Ramesh served as CIO for R&D at Lilly. His career also includes over a decade at Bristol Myers Squibb integrating lab systems and drug discovery workflows, preceded by roles at computational chemistry software firm Tripos.
His past advisory and community roles include serving on the Board of Directors for the 16 Tech Community Corporation and the Dean’s Advisory Council for Indiana University’s Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. Ramesh holds a BA in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Virginia.
