Peyton Baldwin leads alumni engagement at the University of Virginia School of Data Science, overseeing programs and initiatives that connect alumni with the School and its broader community.
Prior to joining the School of Data Science, Baldwin spent five years with University of Virginia Athletics, where she most recently served as the Associate Director of Academic Services for Football. In this role and throughout her time with UVA Athletics, she supported student-athletes and contributed to engagement efforts across the department. Through this experience, she developed a strong foundation in relationship-building and a deep appreciation for the role of athletics in fostering lifelong connections to the University.
A native of Newport News, Virginia, Baldwin is a proud double Hoo, earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in 2019, where she was a member of the women’s swimming and diving team, and a Master of Education in Student Affairs Practice in Higher Education in 2020.
Outside of work, Baldwin enjoys attending sporting events, spending time outdoors, and going to the beach.
