As CEO of QuantumHPC, John Nisi leads the company’s mission to redefine high-performance, mission-critical infrastructure through untethered, grid-independent energy solutions. With a focus on advancing QuantumHPC’s proprietary Cleanewable-Hybrid™ model, John is driving the development of secure, scalable, and future-proofed facilities that address grid instability, cybersecurity risk, and global decarbonization mandates. Under this leadership, QuantumHPC is accelerating the next evolution of resilient, sustainable infrastructure for mission-critical environments worldwide.
Nisi previously spent 27 years at Microsoft, most recently as the Partner VP & Head of Growth for the Strategic Missions and Technologies division. In other roles, he served as COO of Azure Data and Artificial Intelligence, where he was responsible for the U.S. business, marketing, and operations across the cloud and infrastructure portfolio of products. Formerly Worldwide Services CTO for Data and Artificial Intelligence for Microsoft Services, he was responsible for technical strategy, delivery quality, delivery readiness, and technical sales support for the D&AI Services organization.
Over three decades, Nisi has worked in strategic technology planning, business unit development, go-to-market and sales planning, project and product management, and system engineering strategies. He has been the executive sponsor for enterprise collaboration deployments including global internet portals, federal secure extranet incident response portals, pharmaceutical collaboration solutions, and The White House intranet portal for compliance and security.
He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he received a B.S. in Systems Engineering with minors in computer science and business administration, and he earned an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
