Federico "Fed" Cohen Freue is executive vice president, AI & Data Operations, at Mastercard, where he has responsibility over the adoption and enablement of advanced AI & data. This entails leading enterprise AI and data strategy, prioritizing and investing in new AI applications, capturing efficiency and productivity savings, and leading the creation of a new data platform.
Prior to his current role, he served as senior vice president of integration and business performance of acquisitions within the Data & Services unit. He led end-to-end integration for Dynamic Yield, which helps more than 400 global brands to enable hyper-personalized consumer experiences, and SessionM, a global customer engagement and loyalty platform that helps brands orchestrate strong customer relationships. He is part of Mastercard’s Arlington Tech Hub Cabinet, the leadership team overseeing Mastercard’s Arlington office from a strategic and operational standpoint.
He has also previously held leadership roles in pricing & investment strategy, product management, and client services. He joined Mastercard through the acquisition of Applied Predictive Technologies, where he led the firm’s Latin America & Caribbean practice. Freue has led analytics engagements with major companies in 15 countries and developed innovative analytic techniques to optimize acquisition pricing, call center operations, and capital investments.
Fed graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. with Distinction in Applied Statistics and Economics. He is Chair of the Audit Committee at Yo-Yo Ma’s Silkroad, a non-profit organization that uses music to spark cultural collaboration and passion-driven learning, and part of the Advisory Board for the University of Virginia’s School of Data Science. He currently lives in Arlington, Va., with his family.
