Why pursue a Ph.D. in Data Science?

I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Data Science to transform my passion for research into the ability to conduct impactful work independently. My goal is to develop the skills in critical thinking and independent reasoning necessary to tackle complex challenges, and be able to contribute to the community.
