Benjamin Lobo is a Senior Scientist at the School of Data Science. Prior to joining the Department of Engineering Systems and Environment in 2013, Lobo worked as an Industrial Engineer for the U.S. Army Research Laboratory. Lobo received the SMART Scholarship from the U.S. Department of Defense, which is awarded to the most talented and innovative minds in STEM with a mission to support the United States and protect national security after their education.
Lobo holds a PH.D. in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University. He earned a Master of Operations Research from North Carolina State University and a B.S. in Mathematics from the College of William and Mary.
