The UVA School of Data Science, UVA Darden Executive Education, and UVA McIntire School of Commerce have partnered to launch a series of lifelong learning programs, designed to help business leaders use data and analytics to make smarter decisions to accelerate the performance of their organizations.
With the ever-increasing amount of data available in the world, there is endless opportunity to capture, analyze, and leverage that data to transform your business and the world. This new program series brings together award-winning experts from UVA Darden School of Business, UVA School of Data Science, and UVA McIntire School of Commerce, the latest research and innovations, and proven success from recent data science programs at UVA to host three 2-day workshops that each focus on a fundamental area of data science:
- Strategic Use of Data: Explores how insights that have been gained from data and analytics can help shape and guide organizations by helping them identify the questions they need to answer in order to make better decisions.
- Data Science Methods and Applications: Provides real-world experience with the tools and technologies available to analyze and interpret data, to create the powerful insights businesses need to take action.
- Managing Information for Analytics: Delves into the many sources of data, and how to collect, store, and combine data for current and future needs.
