Planning for the Future
The School of Data Science approved a five-year strategic plan that includes five goals centered around collaboration, sustainable growth, education, research, and improving society. Founded in 2019 as a School Without Walls, the School of Data Science is the twelfth and newest school at the University of Virginia. The strategic plan outlines the institution's vision, values, and key themes found throughout. At the core is a commitment to excellence in data science research and education, as well as a belief in championing data science for the common good.
