Directions from the School of Data Science to Old Cabell Hall on the South Lawn (map at bottom):
Distance is approximately .7 miles and 20-25 minutes, depending upon traffic and crowds.
From the School of Data Science, cross Emmet St. toward Main Grounds onto University Ave.
At Culbreth Rd., cross to the right side of University Ave. (adjacent to Synder Tennis Courts), and head toward Shannon Library/McCormick Rd.
Turn right onto McCormick Rd., continue past Shannon Library (on right) and the University Chapel (on left).
Continue on McCormick Rd., past the Special Collections Library, Peabody Hall, and Monroe Hall (all are on the right).
Proceed toward the Amphitheater/Minor Hall; cross to the left side of McCormick Rd. and turn left in front of Garrett Hall.
Walk toward the Lawn, turn right at Cocke Hall.
Arrive at Old Cabell Hall at South Lawn, directly opposite the Rotunda.
