NFL’s Jennifer Langton Named to School of Data Science Board

The University of Virginia’s School of Data Science is pleased to announce that Jennifer Langton, senior vice president for player health and innovation with the National Football League, will join the School’s board.

Langton’s work with the NFL focuses on developing ideas that promote the health and safety of the league’s players, including data-driven initiatives to better predict and help prevent injuries. 

Prior to joining the NFL Langton served as chief financial officer for North America with Atari. In addition to graduating from NYU’s Stern School of Business with an executive MBA, she is also a UVA alum, graduating in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in sociology and finance. 

The board of the School of Data Science advises the School’s leadership on a wide range of policy matters.
