Data Detectives is an interactive activity-based program intended for elementary-aged youth, piloted in the summer of 2024, in partnership with Camp Wildrock. Participants engage with themed activities in “Data Science in a Box” kits designed to prompt curiosity and exploration of data science in multiple contexts. By making observations about the world around them, participants practice data collection and analysis in fun and accessible ways.
