This summer, the UVA School of Data Science is offering week-long bootcamps for middle and high school students. These hands-on and immersive programs are designed to build real AI and data science literacy through creative problem-solving, collaborative projects, and interactive activities.

Participants will explore what AI really is, how machines learn from data, and where these technologies shape everyday life, from social media to hiring to medical diagnosis. No prior experience is required.

Students spend a full week on UVA Grounds at the School of Data Science (1919 Ivy Road), with programming running Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participants should plan to bring a laptop and lunch each day.

Space will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Once the program is full, you may register for the waitlist.
