Jianjian Gao is a postdoctoral research associate working on computational social science. Her research interest lies in combing network science, data science, and sociology to answer a series of social questions from the science of science, international cooperation, and policy innovation and diffusion.
Prior to joining UVA in July 2023, she was a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Business and Management at Queen Mary University of London. During her Ph.D. study, she mainly worked on social network analysis of the international environmental cooperation and climate change laws.
Jianjian Gao holds a Ph.D. in Business and Management from the Queen Mary University of London, a M.Sc. in Power Engineering in the University of Chinese Academy of Science, and a B.Sc. in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering in Shandong University.
