Why pursue a Ph.D. in Data Science?

Data science is unique compared to other fields of study because of its wide range of applications in many different domains. With a Ph.D. in Data Science, I hope to explore its intersection with Neuroscience to answer research questions about the structure of the brain and how it can vary.
