Why pursue a Ph.D. in Data Science?

I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Data Science to acquire the advanced analytical skills and domain expertise needed to unlock complex data sets for actionable insights. I aspire to transition into a role where I can influence policy or drive technological innovations. I want to bridge the gap between academic research and industry applications. Ultimately, I aim to leverage data-driven strategies to solve real-world problems and create a lasting positive societal impact.
