Why data science? My current work involves using high-density data streams from mobile and wearable devices to determine psycho-behavioral markers that are predictive of human health conditions in an effort to deliver targeted and timely interventions to individuals.

Data science offers a set of tools and algorithms capable of extracting useful information from data to create new insights about human well-being from activities of daily living, using methods developed in statistics and machine learning.

Research Interests: Applied machine learning and sequential decision making in healthcare.
