Q: What are you particularly interested in learning about data science?
A: I have always had an interest for data science but it was not offered as a major or minor when I was an undergrad. As soon as I heard about the MSDS program I knew it was something I would be interested in. Data science has always been my goal, bringing together my background in computer science and math while gaining knowledge on statistics. This MSDS program provides a variety of classes that would allow me to strengthen my coding abilities while learning new methods of analyzing any type of data.
Q: How do you hope to use data science in a future career?
A: I look forward most to learning how to create beautiful visualizations using data science tools. Data Visualization allows for the elegant storytelling of data trends and insights which simply cannot be translated into words.
Q: What is a fun fact about yourself?
A: l love to be outdoors!
